So about the movies. There is 4 and it's pretty much a what if scenario as the directors didn't wanted to touch the ending of the original show, but wanted to continue the geass story. The first 3 movies are mostly a recap with some changes and extra scenes. 1 of the major change as you heard it already, that Shirley is alive as Mao didn't happened. You could watch those on your own free time. Only the 4th movie worth of a reaction if enough people would want it. Sadly I only saw 1 other reactor doing it till now. The 4th movie is a brand new story and continuation of the movies ending. All the characters stayed alive does appear in that including Cornelia and Shirley 😁 I would recommend it for a reaction but only if other people would want it too and you have free time to do it too. If not, definitely recommend to watch it on your own as I personally do like the movie too.

The first 3 movies are a recap with some changes, like Mao didn't happened thus Shirley is alive and actually helped at the end to transfer Lelouch body to safety. Some extra scenes here and there but pretty much that's it. The only reaction worthy is the 4th movie as that is a brand new movie. I would recommend to you to watch it if you liked the LuluxC.C. Pair as they have development in there.

I think the first 3 movies are retellings/alt continuity of the story, which change a few things up (particularly Shirley, I was read some synopsis and it actually seems to just address a lot of your issues which I think is hilarious). From what I understand nothing HUGE changes but it may be worth a watch? The fourth movie (resurrection) is like. New and canon to the alt continuity? I havent seen it, but if there was one to react to it'd probably be that? But idk, I can't vouch for it as I havent seen it. I'm like nervous itll mess up the ending somehow so I havent commit. There is some other content to. There was like a 5 OVA series called Code Geass: Akito The Exiled. Its a story following some events in the EU between S1 and S2 with new characters. I did watch this one, and loved the characters. So much so I actually cosplayed Akito. But the story was a fair bit weaker, with kind of mid ending. Overall I did really like it, the characters carried it for me. Then there is the newest stuff called Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture. Its a story after the events of the series, following the alt continuity. I don't really know anything about it, but I've heard pretty good things. Hopefully that helps! If you do watch something on your own, I would love to hear some thoughts in like a short video. The nice part for this series is that everything is canon. I really enjoyed your reaction and opinions on this one.
