yeah, I definitely need to check out the manga after this match specifically because I know they cut out a lot of stuff and they will continue to do so for the next movie. I've watched so many reactions of this show in its entirety and I love it more each time. I just know the manga is peak.

I think one of my lowkey favorite parts of this final point that i dont see much people talk about are the reactions of Kenma and Kuro. They aren't surprised or hyped like everyone else but instead they look like they've realized their time has finally come. The dumpster battle that they've long awaited is finally on the horizon and they're coming to terms with that in the moment.
Also I love how instead of them traditionally winning off a spike, in this case they won off a block. It really is peak storytelling with the parallels between Karasuno and Seijoh's first match down to the exact same words Atsumu said. It truly only could be Hinta and Kageyama who could've blocked that attack. Man I love Haikyuu and it will forever be my favorite sports anime.

Funny enough, a lot of the parts that look weird are very manga accurate. It definitely looks goofy sometimes (I was so sure you’d mention it in the last point) but as an adaptation it’s quite faithful, maybe a bit too much here. On that note after you watch the movie, I’d recommend reading the manga. After you post that one I’ll probably mention it again, but the manga is 11/10 it’s incredible, the storytelling is even more complete in the manga since no content or context is cut. This story is truly well crafted and full of love and passion, cannot recommend it enough. If you don’t have time tho that also makes sense, there’s a lot to do in life, just wanted to present the idea.
