So to explain the Ainz not using magic thing: He didn't lol. But Its easy to see why thats confusing. He didn't cast any spells. Which is what he meant. And he also only brought "weak" magic items. Two of the swords, including the one that kept exploding was Clementine's sword. So like, a strong item as far as this world is concern but not his god tier stuff. The other things he did, like the aura of despair and the negative energy touch are skills. Those are his racial abilities as the "Overlord" race of undead. So not magic. It would be comparable to like a troll using its regeneration ability.
