Also, you aren't tweaking, Noriko (Blue haired girl) sucks and the community is kinda split on if she gets better or not. And Kiznaiver is an original series that was then adapted into manga. So Trigger went full "throw 'em off every 5 minutes" for these first few episodes.

Okay, a bit of a rant here. First, to answer your question I'd say episode 4 is where you finally start to get answers towards the goals of the people setting up the experiment. Second, the 1 flaw in my eyes of this series is that upon the initial explanation of the Kiznaivers, you don't understand how they wish to accomplish world peace. Without spoiling they need to form the "True Connection". Which requires ultimate levels of bonding/connection. So all Kiznaiver missions will be conducted with that in mind.
