Last week you got the first part of this new PREMIUM EXCLUSIVE - and today you're given the second and most definitely just as awesome part. ๐คฉ๐๐ป
Here's the info from the original post:
The time has come.. ๐
We've waited long enough for it - so here we go: First part of a brand new PREMIUM EXCLUSIVE with my partner in crime, Simone Bylund. ๐คฉ๐๐ป (The second part releases next week!)It's been a while since we teamed up, in fact it's been more than a year since we went to Paris, France and did this beauty of a four part series. ๐ฅฐ๐ซถ๐ป๐ซ๐ท Still one of my personal favourites due to so many reasons, but one of them definitely being simply because it's super fine if you ask me. ๐ฅน๐ค๐ป
Anyway, we've teamed up again - this time back in Copenhagen, Denmark where we both roam. โบ๏ธ
The setting this time around, is heavily inspired the good 'ol analogue times and because of that we went with the approach of "close-to-nothing-post-process" at the computer. ๐It makes up some very interesting results, we think. ๐ซถ๐ป
Even thou our original plan actually failed (that was to do all photos with a mounted Canon Speedlite Rx), but because my flash was kinda old we experienced too many technical dificulties, resulting in us changing the setup at the spot...... and I went straight back home and bought my Godox Pro Flash instead. ๐๐Our idea was to style and achieve a setting flirting heavily with the 70s / 80s. To do so, we both combined the above technical workflow with no post-process, but also made sure the clothing didn't had huge prints or logos on them.
We went with old school props like my Canon T70 from the 80s and her retro digital camera as seen below.
(Photo #01: Simone holding my Canon T70 as an incorporated prob into the photos to achieve our vision. Photo #02: Some lingerie we selected for this use - since we had to find something which somehow matched the old school vibe we aimed for. Photo #03: Another retro camera which we used as a visible prob.)
As I mentioned earlier, we ended up doing everything in the natural light available at the location. It wasn't the original intension, but technical difficulties screwed us over so we ended here.. ๐
However, that ment I had to make use of my medium sized reflector on certain shots!Below, you can see a photo (taken from the huge Behind The Scenes video you can check out right here by the way! ๐) of Simone dancing on her little 'french balcony'-thing. That was a nice spot for photos I thought, but when doing photos there, the subject will be massively exposed by the sun from behind of her - and not so much from the front (inside of the appartment). ๐
That was the only time I made use of my reflector, because I neeed to bounce most of the light to her front. ๐
(Simone dancing next to her balcony, only lit up by the light coming in from the outside of the apartment. Notice how she looks pretty decent well exposed here at this photo - but that's because it's recorded with an iPhone. When doing photos with a pro Canon camera you have to compensate for this, by using a reflector for instance. ๐ค๐ช)
As per usual I shot everything on the Canon R5 only with my Canon 24-70 f./2.8 L USM lens attached and like most other PREMIUM EXCLUSIVE shoots, there will be an 'Edit Challenge' connected with this shoot, post-process (even thou it's a pretty straight forward one.. ๐) released later on. โบ๏ธ
As always: Please feel free to ask away about whatever you want to know about this shoot! โบ๏ธ Technical stuff, practical stuff, tips or tricks - or simply just let me know what you think. ๐ฅณ๐๐ป
