La Verdad pt. II | PREMIUM EXCLUSIVE | Marie Elisabeth

The time has come for the second entry of this brand new PREMIUM EXCLUSIVE series, which I shot back in April with the stunningly beautiful Marie Elisabeth. β˜ΊοΈπŸŒ΄πŸ“Έ

As mentioned before the results of our trip has been divided into eight separate series of photos, which varies in both style and setting. 😁 Furthermore, there will be three post-process videoes showing my editing of the different settings + a lenghty TWO PART 'Behind The Scenes'-video lasting around 60 min!🀩

Each new part will release every week from now on until August, in which you will be given the massive 'Behind The Scenes'-video. 😎πŸ”₯

Below is listed all the different parts and a little info on what to expect:

Let's have some insights on this set...

This more botanic / jungle vibed set was shot on two different locations; one at Jardins d'AlfΓ bia and one at Santa Maria de l’Olivar. ☺️ The two places got some very different looks to them, but we thought that the black dress she brought along would fit the setting quite well. πŸ˜‰πŸŒ΄

At first, we had a little issue due to the transparrent material it was made of.. πŸ˜‚ Something Marie didn't thought of when she brought it, because we were as mentioned, shooting at public places.

(Marie asked me to take a photo of her butt to show her how transparrent her dress was.. πŸ˜‚πŸ™ˆ)

Because we obviously want to be respectful to people and our surroundings, this was a minor issue when walking around the park. πŸ˜…

We did try to hide her butt as much as possible with her bag and had her jacket closed all the time..πŸ˜†

Due to the rain this day (which was Sunday and therefor our last day of the trip, by the way) the green colours and all the flora really stood out. 🀩 It was perfect to see how the green colors and the moisted surfacees was poping up and look all saturated all of a sudden. πŸ₯Ή

I shot everything on the Canon R5 and only with my Canon 24-70 mm f./2.8 L USM in natural light at the location.

(One of the locations we did photos. Notice how the floor is all soaked up due to the rain - which also provided some deep contrasts and colors on the leaves. 😁🀌🏻 Photo #02 in this series is actually shot on that exact same spot which you can see on this image.)

Our goal in this series was to create a soothing and beautiful atmosphere. No real sexy or sexual poses - just a fine woman walking around. A mix of minor smiles and serious looks, while keeping it as classy as possible.☺️

On a technical level, when doing photos of nearly black clothing, it's important to always keep an eye on your exposure level. You won't overexpose anything, while trying to get the black brighten up.

A trick to compensate or just a way to get around it, is to shoot in the shadows. πŸ˜ Well, luckily for us, the weather kinda sucked this day and the sun wasn't really out - and that was our luck, since it would have made my work much more difficult because of how the camera would expose a photo.

We could nearly just shoot freely where we went, but if you're up for something similar yourself; keep in mind that you would prefer to shoot in the shadows, when working with black clothing. πŸ˜‰πŸ‘πŸ»

(A view from the first location - and as you clearly can see; the skies where all grey and cloudy)

(A still from the 'Behind The Scenes'-video coming up, but here you can clearly see how easy even the camera I'm filing with, can handle the difference between light and dark, when it's super cloudy. πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ»)

After our visit to Jardins d'AlfΓ bia, we headed more north on the island and up into the mountains. There the flora changed to a more light green, more Northern Europa-vibe with pinewood, but keeping the southern touch such as cactus' etc.

We did the rest of the series next to an abandoned chapel. No people in sight and the only living creatures we met, was three goats who had so epic looks I had to take a photo of one of them... πŸ˜…

(Mr. Steal-your-girl 😏🀌🏻 The G.O.A.T of all 🐐s)

A little technical info of this day..

I brought along my Canon R5 and focused only on using the Canon 24-70 mm f./2.8 L USM III. πŸ€“

Since it turned out that we would primarily be shooting in cloudy shades and shadows, I never had to use any reflector or so. ☺️

SO NOW IT'S UP TO YOU GUYS!! 😁πŸ₯³πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

We know that the setting changed totally from the first part, but that is all a part of showing the range of work we did. We do sure hope you like this (and the following ones!) as much as the first part we showed you. 😁
