I recently met up with the lovely alternative model Kristina Louisa Flavis, mainly because she wanted to do some new shots (since it's been a while since we made these bangers π) and she is set soon to be a mother. π₯Ήπ€°π»
So I suggested we went for a combination of our previous setups; doing studio but on a location! π ππ» I came by her place in Odense and we hiked to a spot in a nearby forrest, a cold and wet day in Marts in Denmark.. ππ₯Άπ§οΈ
Kristina is such a badass tho, so the temperatures wasn't a problem. πͺπ»π
Before the shoot I had made up a moodboard describing my vision to Kristina, so it was clear to me from the start that I wanted to go all black/white, to get this kind of 'Chelsea Wolfe'-ish spirit. π€ Like a witchy version of Lana Del Rey, you know. π
For the backdrop I didn't want to go traditional paper, since I wanted some dynamics in it. I wanted the wind to control the overall look and create up some abstract contrasts in the background, while keeping Kristina in focus simple and calm.
I shot it on Canon R5 with only my Canon 24-70 mm f./2.8 L USM III lens, due to the great amount of space available for me to move around on. πππ»
There will be a post-process video showing my progress of the toning and turning to black/white.
As always: Please feel free to ask away about whatever you want to know about this shoot! βΊοΈ Technical stuff, practical stuff, tips or tricks - or simply just let me know what you think. π₯³ππ»
