I once heard that when something serial like this gets to its 21st installment, you've gotten past the toughest stretch of losing interest. I certainly haven't lost any, so I feel pretty good right now!
Thank you to Poppy for coming up with this one on the spot when I asked her for comic ideas about summer.
Two details I like: First, 1241 really was a terribly hot and dry year. I do my research for this stuff. Second, Ljuba is carrying a rush light down the stairs, not a lantern or torch; she was carrying a bundle of them a few pages ago. I love rush lights!
By the way: Expect a bulk upload of comic sketches later this month.
