📖 Dev Diary #June 2025 📖 Health Update
Added 2025-06-18 18:09:57 +0000 UTCAs some of you know, I've been experiencing some health problems for the last month, delaying work on the game. In a condensed version, I caught strep throat, which developed into a bad case of tonsillitis. Manageable, but not very conducive to working consistently hard enough to meet deadlines or keeping my libido up [libido is quite crucial when making an adult game, since I never make content that doesn't turn me on!]
Sadly, my tonsillitis developed into quinsy last week, and I ended up being hospitalised for a few days. Quinsy sounds rather whimsical, but in reality it swells the back of your throat and glands - making it agonising to swallow and increasingly hard to chew. Rather like having a head full of barbed wire. I ended up on liquids because I could no longer open my mouth far enough to eat and lost an alarming amount of weight. Quinsy is fatal if untreated, but the docs have been dosing me with full spectrum antibiotics and steroids - and a lot of pain-killers - so I'm recovering well. All Hail the scrub-bedecked heroes of MediCorps! ⚕
I got home yesterday, but am still pretty weak - so I doubt I'll manage to get a SpaceCorps update out this month. I deeply apologise for this. I'm still hoping to release part 2 of Cyberspunk 2069 to Lieutenants+, since much of the work is already done. Stay tuned for news on that - but no promises, since I'm not entirely out of the woods yet.

I just want to say again, as someone who has been dealing with a number of health issues myself this year, PLEASE take care of yourself, do what you need to do to get better, and I really hope you get better SOON!

At the start of the year, Pateron did *SOMETHING* which would not allow me to sign into their site -- it kept rejecting the valid address I've been using at Pateron for years. I wrote Customer Service and it had been a painful 6 months when I could not get the Content of the Creators I support here because of this screw-up. I WAS able to sign in today for some reason -- I don't know if the problem is fixed or not until I sign out and then see if I can sign in again. Added to all that is have been sick with one thing or another off and on and in particular the last 2 weeks. Anyway, I do NOT know how long I'll be able to stay signed in (or if I will be able to sign in again), so: ** HELP ** What Content should I really, really have of yours (remember, I'm 6 months behind!) in order to continue to play your game ("SpaceCorps XXX")??? Please reply ASAP. (I might not be able to sign in again!) THANK YOU! **
