π v2.7.7 Progress Report π

Time for a Progress report on the next update π
This one started with a bang - Agatha delivered her final batch of voice recordings for π½Xenobiology101, and I already had the full π§±LEGO scene made by Xenomurphy in the bag. I've spent the last few days coding them all in - and the results are great. This means that I'm already halfway through the total update, with an extra 270 voiced lines and 260 scripted images! π
The next focus is finishing the πΉRedacted mission [featuring Sam, Meera or both], and I've made a start on the art. You'll see that I have 3 stretch goals [the final 3 parts of Day 7, leading into Day 8]. I obviously won't finish them all - but I like to put a bit of pressure on myself with unrealistic goals π
I'll update you later in the month with a release date - but I'm hoping to get v2.7.7 out on Early Release before Christmas and its many distractions π

Coleβs getting a big one on Day 8 (in more than one sense, lol) and will be the first Shower scene of Week 3 :)

2024-12-05 21:01:13 +0000 UTCExcited for this new update. I hope we can make some of the stretch goals. Also way back when you mentioned doing a poll for who is enabled in people's virtual stable to see who the average Patreon/player interacts with. It might be good to do at the end of Week 1.

2024-12-05 17:17:36 +0000 UTCOh, a Fiora scene! I actually really liked her second encounter with the MC (the hair styling), so I was hoping for another opportunity to meet her at some point. I wonder if she will be an instructor for a MediCorps mission with MAX later on or if it'll be a new character. It's also interesting how the last two encounters the MC has at the end of the week are with the characters he met first on day 1 (Fiora, Kex), a neat touch if it was intentional! Kind of gone full the circle and almost all season 1 characters have now appeared in season 2 (except for Fox, but he will probably become prominent with the eighth branch). Uh, I mean, there is no Eighth Branch! Looking forward to the update!
