Christmas event Poll

I created a Christmas event, I wanted to know your opinion.
Do you prefer that the event is playable all year round and therefore mandatory ( Maybe skippable out of Xmas period and the points will still be correctly given), or do you prefer it to be playable only during this Christmas period, completely unrelated from the main story, so no points corruption, no achievmentes?

I’d like, ideally, to have calendar based events available throughout the year, with an option to enable the event up at the top. Perhaps make prerequisites that will only enable them in chronological order? Halloween before Christmas, etc...
