Just giving a small update on what I've been plugging away at for the last couple days.
I've been plugging away at the super-sexy task of data management for all of the game's quests, systems for saving the status of the ones the player has taken on, and menus so players can see what needs to be done!
Stuff like this at the start always seems like it would be a quick thing to add, with how commonplace they are in games, but when you have to work out all of the nitty-gritty details from scratch it can be a lot.
There are ! markers for newly gained tasks, check boxes showing what is done, tasks can be linked together to show multiple options for a branching path, and bios for every entry that can change if the task is passed or failed.
While there are other things I can add, It's all in a 'good enough to get on to other things' state and I can get on to adding more content to play!
Next I'm going to go through and set up some NPCs to give out a couple quests and get a more proper 'dating' sequence in for Batu/Bailey. I'm aiming to get another build out later this month.
