Since I got that system I was working on last mostly implemented, I started to add in more variants of the exiting characters. The system is working great so far, once the art is done adding in a new master-list entry and option for the NPC spawner to pick is a easy process.
Baily (Batu's alternative) is done. She has a full art set and everything. The guard has a sprite, but needs a VN art set still. I might also make an alt set for Rose by next update but I don't have her alt-character designed yet.
Other additions are a improved options menu, with a set of content settings that I think work better. You can pick your preference for masculine or feminine NPCs. Then for each of the 2 you can pick preference on 'what is in their pants (D or V)', 'if they are more of a top or bottom', and 'if they prefer to to give or receive.' Each is a slider of <All-Most-Mix-Most-All>.
These settings will allow for tailoring the NPCs to specific preferences like 'only buff men with ether D or V who mostly power bottom' and still keep it all manageable to actually make lmao. I'm still open to feedback on what people want to see though.
The settings, other then the masc/fem slider, don't have an effect right now but I am planning out a more extended wooing plot line for Baily/Batu that it will be factored into. And the code to keep track of the info is there, so if you set the settings now future updates should account for it.
I'm gonna turn my attention to some comms and Patreon Poll stuff now but a updated build should be up soon, after the Guard's art and another small scene is added.
A small note, the next update will have to delete the save file for the previous one since loading it causes a crash due to differences in data structures. I started to add a system to make sure save files work across versions as I start to add more and more content.
