Color Practice
Added 2020-05-30 20:28:45 +0000 UTCSomething I did this morning to test out some coloring ideas. It's actually the same base color, with different hues for the lights, darks, and bounce, working off different swatches that I made, based on a chapter from a color theory book I found.
Top left --> earthy
Top right --> cold
Bottom left --> warm
Bottom right --> romantic
One of these days, I actually would really like to record the video process of one pinup per month, with voice-over, and set that as a $10/month perk. But not today.
I'll hopefully refine this throughout June with the pinups, and come out stronger as an artist.

2020-05-31 02:27:27 +0000 UTCI know why. That was the first one I did, and one of the settings was off, which made the dark colors darker. So the color around his mouth is stronger and emphasizes his expression a bit more than the others. It was all experimentation, and it's a never-ending learning process. At least for me. :)
