"Black" sketch. Just for fun.

This is "Black" from Art Thibert's "Black & White" comic. He did this as an Image creator-owned book back in the 90's and just recently did an Indiegogo campaign reimagining of the origin.
I think it'd be a lot of fun to do an Indiegogo book one day. Or at least be part of someone's campaign as a fill-in artist, chapter artist, alternate cover artist, etc etc. As it is, Kryptonian Resolution is definitely the biggest project I'll have ever done, so it's a good test to make sure I can trust myself to finish something of this scale.
That's all. Just some random thing I wanted to do as a break from the norm. Plus, it's SFW, which I'll be working around through at least April.

Haha. Thanks. Actually, I turned off the smoothing option on the pen, so the lines are a bit more wobbly and uneven. I started thinking a lot of the inking was too smooth and....robotic(?) because I wanted really clean lines. But that kind of felt unnatural and not as organic. I also did a little more cross-hatching, and I added more black. Just some small things I wanted to try out. *as if anyone cares about this rambling. hehe*
