August's Plan

Hey everyone. Head's up that August will be sort of a non-sex month for me.

One reason is because my wife's daughter will be with us for about 3 weeks starting this Wednesday, and like a lot of kids, they like to snoop around and she likes cartoon-stuff. I'd rather keep it clean. With that said, it's the PERFECT time for me to do the next Superman & Black Canary page, as it is a slow, talking heads page with Green Arrow and Flash.

Another reason is because my favorite comic book writer Mark Millar is going to begin his 2016 Millarworld Talent Search in September, and I'd like to have my 3 pages ready to go. How cool would it be to win a spot in his 2017 Millarworld Annual?

For those who don't know him, he is the creator of Kick-Ass, he wrote the Civil War book the Captain America movie is based on, he created Wanted, and he just writes some damn good comics - Super Crooks, Superior, and Jupiter's Legacy are really great!

So yeah. I'll aim to make the Superman & Black Canary page one of the three, as it's a slow talking head page, and maybe a two page Hit Girl action page. That way I cover my bases pretty well and still get something done that you've been following. Plans could change as far as the details, but the overall theme of August being non-adult sequential pages is pretty much a solid bet.

I should clarify - I will be posting progress of these pages here on Patreon, so you'll still get regular updates of my artwork. :)
