Added 2016-07-07 04:47:33 +0000 UTCI decided to forego inking. One reason is because I think it gives me a way different look, as far as the style goes, which is pretty cool - more Joe Madureira and less Todd McFarlane.
The other reason is because it's a LOT faster, since I don't worry about being so precise.
I think the coloring is pretty bold and bad-ass, too! Hehe.
I want to do a lot more pencil-style work for the reasons stated above. However, I will definitely finish the Superman and Black Canary comic in its current inked style, for continuity's sake.
Finally, I'd like to throw the question out there to you guys - How do you feel about the new style?

Cool. Yeah, I think it depends on what I'm drawing, or what the mood is. See? These are the decisions that make being an artist so difficult. I appreciate your feedback, Daniel!

2016-07-07 05:21:40 +0000 UTCHaha. I know you do. I admit I sometimes just throw a different wig on the face to make it a different character - as is the case with many artists, I find. But I really try to give Peter Parker and Clark Kent different facial characteristics. I'll continue improving that part of the art. :)

2016-07-07 04:58:31 +0000 UTCThe softer tone with the detail that you have seems to work well. I like both styles, but if I had to pick which one is easier, I would go with that.
