I just released a new video showing how to make the picture in picture effect for Final Cut Pro! I also showed how to build it as a template in Apple Motion.

But as a thank you, I wanted to create a picture in picture template that you can easily apply to anything you like! It even comes with some animations to really make your videos pop.
You can download it below, and install it in Movies > Motion Templates > Effects

IMPORTANT • REQUIRES FCP VERSION 10.4.6 OR NEWER TO WORK!

Hey Jia, it’s at the bottom of the post. It is labeled as Picture in Picture effect.zip - if you’re struggling to see it, try a different browser. Sometimes patreon has a hard time with some browsers.

2022-12-25 19:30:31 +0000 UTCI'm so grateful for this plugin! Is there an easy way to change the shape from a circle to a rectangle in Motion? I've been able to replace the circle shape on most of it but it is messing up the build-in effects and I can't figure it out. :)
