Short Warning/Recommendation for Subscriptions on IOS Patreon
Added 2025-03-26 08:36:36 +0000 UTCI should've warned before but because of Apple taxes on IOS, you will pay more if you subscribe on Apple devices. I highly advise you to sub only on Android and PC to avoid these taxes.
I also discovered that i get access to the money from IOS payments only 3 months after the sub is completed (wtf were they thinking 😭).
So it's better for everyone like that. Only a few seems to be doing that through IOS, for everyone else, you can keep everything as usual 👍

Patreon adapted their prices on IOS only because of that so every creators you sub to on these platform will be more expensive. Apple is a little Indy company after all, they need it so we can't contest it

2025-03-26 10:34:40 +0000 UTCThat's wild, they're already getting 30% cut from all app store purchases, not to mention all their hardware and software. Capitalism gotta capitalize I guess. Good thing I haven't owned an apple device since their old IMac computer back then.
