A Materialistic Adventure (Dark Cloud 2 / Chronicle) !!OUT NOW!!

This was one of my favorite games growing up. The way I got around that building complaint you had about always having to go back to buy more supplies was just buying a huge surplus of them and maintaining a minimum balance of them at all times. So when I went to go refill them, I just refilled everything all at once, makes the trips less frequent. Great video and analysis, I might give the first game a shot one of these days. Never tried it, I heard it was like the second game but worse. I'll have to check out your video on it. Thanks for the great content!

You're EXACTLY right. I felt like halfway through editing that my video was a justification for disliking parts of it due to this games very dedicated fanbase. As far as live action scenes go, some videos are just gonna have less than others. It completely depends on the video and how many scenes I write! :3 OTHER THAN THAT, thank you so much for this comment! Made me GRIN

I quite liked the video! Since I like constructive criticism in my own projects I'll give some more detailed thoughts. I apologize if this is too much as I tend to go on when talking about ways to improve things. Positive: The writing and editing were excellent as usual. Everything being shown was relevant to what was being talked about and I rarely felt like I was looking at "B-roll" footage. The timing for the comedy sections were also very well done. Whether it was through animation or timing you made the reaction faces much funnier than in other videos I've seen that use them. Negative: Stating your conclusion right at the beginning made the video feel more like a justification for your conclusion rather than an analysis or a review. I feel like you were probably worried about disappointing all the people who told you to check it out, but I think it made the video a little less interesting to watch when I knew the ending a minute in. I felt like there were less live action segments than normal. After re-watching it, it looks like while there were several quick cutaways there were zero longer segments like the dancing from the first one. The live action segments are probably some of my favorite parts of your videos, and most other people aren't willing to put that level of effort into their videos. After flipping back through some of your other recent videos it looks like the amount of live action does vary drastically from video to video, so it might just be me comparing it to the first Dark Cloud video. A very good video overall though, and I quite enjoyed it. Thanks!
