Would love to see Jay talk about Crispin Glover’s fever dream of a movie “Rubin and Ed”. Or perhaps a Kipper Kids retrospective. Probably alone in that department, though.

Really like, you could say love, the conclusion that the Judd Nelson guy in the movie starts to be funny and connects with the audience when he starts to be true to himself/talk about his own life in a genuine way.

This reminds me of "City of Lost Children" just in its weird combo of body horror, universal squalor and just tombstone-cold deadpan comedy.

Speaking of strange cult films co-starring Wayne Newton-
The Adventures of Ford Fairlane!
edit: Judd Nelson as Crispin Glover

This comment made me think of Carnivale, and that I will have to rewatch Carnivale. It might become a true story

This made me wonder if you guys have ever seen Carnivale, and then I started watching Carnivale again. True story.

I feel like I should have heard of this movie, even in passing. The 90’s man. Wild time for all involved. We apologize for the inconvenience.

And another entry on my list of movies I've never heard of in my entire life... there are a lot of those, lately...

That's one of the grimiest and strangest movies I've ever seen, so I figure it must be a Jay pick.

Literally have no idea what this is about. Time to rewatch it a million times while working.
