OP13 Meta Report – Week 2!

We finally have a full week of OP13 data to break down — and the early shape of the format is already coming into focus. With the ladder recently reset, the 1B+ pool is still too small to generate reliable high-end insights, so for now we’re leaning on broad, all-rank data to capture the early trends.

If growth continues at this pace, next week’s report should return to the usual 1B+-only analysis, giving us a cleaner look at how top players are adapting at the highest level of competitive play.

What is already clear, even at this stage, is the emergence of a dominant Top 3:

These three leaders are setting the tone for OP13, defining the early meta and overshadowing the surrounding field. Roger sits right behind them — not quite breaking into the top cluster yet, but absolutely capable of reclaiming his place as the format stabilizes.

In this week’s report, you’ll find:

Let’s dive in — OP13 is already delivering one of the most dynamic, high-pressure metas we’ve seen in a long time.

1️⃣ R/B Ace – Top Deck of the Week

Ace edges out Imu thanks to its explosive tempo, smooth curve, and strong late game. The natural pressure from a 6K leader gives Ace consistent advantages on both offense and defense, and its matchup spread is one of the best in the format. Notably, it performs well into Imu, the most-played deck right now, which helps secure its #1 position.

2️⃣ Imu – The Most Popular Deck

Imu brings the most explosive combo potential in the entire game, backed by a high-consistency engine that loads the trash for massive late-game payoffs. When piloted well, the deck is terrifying — but its technical skill requirement, sequencing demands, and turn dependency can pull down its overall win rate. Still, its raw ceiling and popularity keep it firmly in the Top 3.

3️⃣ Green Zoro – Still a Top Threat

Zoro continues to dominate, carrying its OP12 momentum forward with new OP13 tools. Its ability to pivot between board control, wide pressure, and sudden game-ending pushes makes it incredibly adaptable. Zoro remains a format staple and one of the safest decks to bring into any meta.

4️⃣ R/P Roger – Powerful but Slightly Volatile

Roger has the explosive turns needed to contest any of the top decks, and its high skill ceiling rewards expert piloting. However, the deck can stumble if it misses its ideal curve, making it slightly less consistent than the Top 3. In the hands of seasoned players, though, it remains a major contender capable of punching up.

5️⃣ R/B Sabo – A New Challenger

Sabo enters OP13 with a strong mix of tempo tools and late-game power. It performs particularly well into Ace and Roger, giving it a solid position in the mid-top tier. Its weaknesses against Imu and Zoro hold it back from climbing higher, but the deck has clear potential as players refine the optimal lists.

6️⃣ Lim – Returning to the Spotlight

Lim finds its way back into the top rankings thanks to the Odyssey engine, which gives the deck a welcome boost in consistency. It posts respectable results against Imu but struggles into Ace and Zoro — two of the format’s defining leaders. Even so, its flexible starting options and stable game plan keep it competitive.

7️⃣ Bonney – Skill-Heavy and Reliable

Bonney continues to be a meta mainstay, powered by its strong toolbox and leader ability that rewards tight sequencing and good piloting. It boasts solid matchups across most of the field, with the notable exception of Imu, which remains its toughest challenge. In the hands of a skilled player, Bonney always overperforms.

8️⃣ Belo Betty – Aggressive and Explosive

Belo Betty is making waves thanks to its explosive early game and strong pressure tools. It performs very well into Ace and Roger, and surprisingly holds its own against much of the field. Going second into Imu is particularly strong, helping it overperform relative to expectations. While volatile, its ceiling is undeniable.

9️⃣ Yellow Bonney – New and Unpredictable

Yellow Bonney is a fresh face in OP13, and while it struggles into the top-tier decks, it consistently performs well into mid-tier matchups. As with most Yellow strategies, its trigger-based swing potential gives it surprising explosiveness, allowing it to steal games even in difficult pairings. Expect this deck to evolve as players push the archetype.

🔟 R/G Luffy – Fast, Fun, and Full of Potential

One of OP13’s new arrivals, R/G Luffy is proving to be a solid and explosive deck with strong performance into Zoro and several other top matchups. Its main issue is its struggle against the meta’s upper echelon. Still, the deck’s speed and kill pressure give it plenty of room to grow — and with refinement, it could easily climb higher in the coming weeks.

Conclusion

Week 2 of OP13 has already given us a clear look at how the meta is shaping up — and it’s one of the most dynamic formats we’ve seen in a while. A dominant Top 3 has emerged with Ace, Imu, and Zoro defining the pace of the game, while Roger and several new contenders fight to break through. What stands out most is how wide and flexible the rest of the field remains: decks like Sabo, Lim, Betty, and the two Bonneys all bring unique strengths that reward strong piloting and smart adaptation.

As the ladder stabilizes and the 1B+ data grows, the picture will sharpen even further. Expect major shifts over the next week as top players refine lists, counter-pick the leading threats, and push new archetypes to their limits.

OP13 is still young — and the meta is only getting more exciting from here. Stay tuned for next week’s high-level breakdown once the 1B+ pool fills out.
