OP13 Early Meta Snapshot
As a special bonus this week, we’re giving you a sneak peek at how OP13 is shaping up on the ladder. Keep in mind, this data comes from general ladder stats.
Think of this as a fun first look rather than a concrete tier list. We’re not diving too deep just yet, but it’s always exciting to see what players are experimenting with and which decks are starting to gain traction early on.
Take it with a grain of salt — and let’s enjoy the beginning of OP13 together!
OP13 brings a massive influx of new cards and competitive decks, spotlighting some of the most iconic and mysterious characters in the One Piece universe.
According to early ladder stats, the top three contenders form a tight triangle — Ace, Imu, and Zoro — each battling for the #1 spot. Roger isn’t far behind; his matchup spread looks solid across the board, though he may lack the same consistency and explosiveness that keep the top three at the front of the pack.
Just below that group, the new Red/Black Sabo is emerging as a serious contender. Sabo combines tempo pressure with control tools, giving players multiple ways to build and adapt. With such flexible color pairing and late-game options, this deck could evolve rapidly as the meta stabilizes.
Meanwhile, Bonney & Blue/Purple Luffy continues their streak of reliability, once again finding themselves in the top 10.
Rounding out the top 10, we see ST12 Zoro & Sanji, Bello, and Rayleigh — an aggressive trio that fits the pattern of early metas favoring fast, proactive decks. It’ll be interesting to see if these aggro strategies can hold their ground once control and midrange lists start refining their builds.
