OP11 Meta Report – Week in Review

With OP11 now firmly in the meta, players are locking in their go-to leaders and refining tech choices for key matchups. The format remains fast and unforgiving — favoring decks that can adapt quickly and punish missteps. Blue/Purple Luffy holds strong at the top, but decks such as Buggy are surging up the ranks thanks to meta shifts and skilled piloting. Here’s how the top 10 leaders stack up this week based on results, matchup spread, and overall performance.

How Our Data Is Calculated

Our rankings aren’t based on raw winrate alone. While win percentage is part of the equation, it doesn’t paint the full picture — especially in a diverse meta where some decks farm weaker matchups but collapse against top-tier threats.

Here’s how we approach it:

This multi-factor approach gives a clearer view of each deck’s actual strength in the current meta — not just how many games it wins, but how and against whom those wins happen.

1. Blue/Purple Luffy – The Deck to Beat
Still the king of the format. Blue/Purple Luffy combines board control, card advantage, and flexible sequencing better than any other deck right now. Even as more players tech for the matchup, it continues to convert consistently at top tables. Its resilience and raw power make it the benchmark every other deck is measured against.

2. Belo Betty – Speed Meets Power
Belo Betty remains a relentless force. It applies early pressure and forces opponents to have answers immediately or fall behind. Its good matchups into slower or setup-heavy leaders give it room to punish greedy hands and misplays. Skilled Betty players are refining lists to shore up weaknesses, and it’s paying off.

3. Blue Buggy – Meta Breaker on the Rise
Buggy has jumped into the top tier this week. Its mix of early hand disruption, tempo swings, and strong late-game finishers makes it extremely well-rounded. With the right pilot, Buggy can dismantle both aggro and control strategies alike. This deck is no longer a sleeper — it’s a serious contender.

4. Green/Purple Luffy – Explosive as Ever
G/P Luffy has dipped slightly but remains lethal. Its ability to snowball tempo and force tough decisions keeps it threatening. While some of its tougher matchups are more popular now, the deck’s explosive turns and strong finishers still win games out of nowhere.

5. Blackbeard – Capitalizing on Chaos
Blackbeard is climbing. It thrives in metas where opponents are testing slower builds or low-curve value engines. Its mid-to-late game dominance is real, especially when paired with skilled resource management. In the right matchup spread, Blackbeard can absolutely run the table.

6. Red Zoro – Classic Aggro Still Works
Zoro continues to do what Zoro does best: apply pressure and close out games before opponents stabilize. It’s punishing decks that can’t stabilize early, especially those focused on multi-turn setups. While not flashy, it remains one of the best options for players who want to win fast and clean.

7. Purple Luffy – Holding the Line
Purple Luffy refuses to fade. The 8-cost Katakuri has solidified its top-end, and the deck continues to find ways to stay relevant. It rewards tight play and patient setups, and it can turn the tide in a single turn with strong swings and high-value threats.

8. Green Bonney – Slipping but Solid
Bonney has dropped a bit but remains solid. It lacks the explosive ceilings of the decks above, but its consistency, board control, and adaptability still make it a reliable pick. The meta is getting faster, which hurts Bonney slightly, but experienced pilots are still finding success.

9. Yamato – Underrated and Dangerous
Yamato is still flying under the radar. The starter deck boost gave it the consistency it needed, and it has some surprising matchups into the current top leaders. Inexperienced opponents often misplay into Yamato’s lines, giving the deck a real edge in open fields. It’s a rogue pick that can absolutely steal wins in the right hands.

10. Red/Green Smoker – Losing Ground
Smoker has cooled off. While still a flexible and fundamentally strong deck, it’s struggling to keep pace with the speed and value engines dominating the top cut. Players aren’t dropping it completely, but it’s no longer the rising star it was a few weeks ago. Solid, but not exceptional in the current field.

Closing Thoughts

The OP11 meta is proving to be both volatile and rewarding for creative, precise players. While Blue/Purple Luffy continues to dominate, decks like Buggy and Blackbeard are gaining real ground, punishing unrefined lists and forcing the meta to stay honest. The gap between tiers is narrowing, and strong matchups are everything right now.
