Behind the Scenes - Luca Comparison 2
Added 2025-01-12 09:23:03 +0000 UTCHey all, just a super quick one here. I'm still working on the Luca rework animations and wanted to share a side by side of a particularly dramatic visual change. I've already shared a comparison vid, but this still of the exact same moment really illustrates the many subtle changes coming together to improve the vids.
For one, changing the lighting is giving a much more dappled look to the scene. Reducing the background blur also helps to the image appear higher quality and the whole lighting rework makes her skin tone way more natural, even though I haven't actually touched the model's materials.
All the pics are linked if you want a higher res explore. As a random bonus, I recently came across the first animation I ever made for The Pill (Belle_BE_Expansion1). I've also attached it for some nostalgia and to reflect on how far the game has come.
We'll have a more substantial progress update at some point in the coming week. Now back to it!
