The Pill Conversion Update #3
Added 2024-12-28 06:23:36 +0000 UTCHowdy hey everyone! Hope you're doing well in this weird time between Xmas and New Year's. Frankly I have no idea what day it is, but that doesn't seem to be an impediment right now.
Here is our third update to the big old conversion of The Pill into Ren'Py. Lady Grove has been working diligently with our developer and they've got the original game conversion almost complete! We're down to final testing on chapters 4 & 5.
(I should note however, this doesn't include the new additions to the base game beyond the VO, I'll modify the progress chart when this stage is done to include those new elements).
For my part, I've started on the animations for Chapter 6! I've made 9 of the 12 that are going to be implemented in the game. After they're done, it's on to expressions and seeing how the chapter flows as actual gameplay.
So still plenty to do! But I'm excited to see the results.

You are right, it would be way easier for us to just not post during the period when there is so much to do on the game. But that just isn't us, we appreciate all our patrons and their commitment to making all of this possible so a post here or there feels like the least we can do.

It'd be easy to just say "we're not going to post from Dec-Jan" and just update us on what you were able to make come the end of Jan, but you guys wanted to be honest and hold yourselves accountable. I can't speak for everyone, but I work hard for the little money I give yall, and it makes me unreasonably happy to know I can count on you and your team to deliver, or at least be transparent about your progress in doing so. Ngl I'd probably stick around regardless, but it's a nice touch to do this for us

2024-12-29 01:18:50 +0000 UTCThanks - at this stage we're still planning on the original January release. 👍 As for Change Deck, we have had some conversations about it, and it is something I fathom that will happen at some stage, but we haven't put it in the schedule yet.

2024-12-29 01:17:38 +0000 UTCAre we still expecting a late January release? I can't wait to play through this again! Also, Is there any desire to go back and update Change Deck as well? I've always had issues on the android version and would love to experience the full game. Keep up the great work!
