AI Cover Art - Yes or No?
Added 2023-08-13 01:32:24 +0000 UTCSo, I played around with AI Image Generators, and I found one that was capable of turning doodles into actually recognizable images. So, I played around some more, trying to get a depiction of the Family from "Tiny Tim" as they existed in my head. At least more or less, that is.
Now, the result is the image you see above, and I'm on the fence with using something like this as a Cover for a book.
On one hand, it gives me the opportunity to provide readers with an actual idea of how I had envisioned the characters. On the other hand... it's cartoonish. So, here's my question:
Would you read a book with a cover like that, or does it look too much like Young Adult, Teen angst, cringe content?

2023-08-25 11:51:34 +0000 UTCHey, just wanted to say I loved your Story Tiny Tim, it was a great read! So, as for the cover I liked how it gives a clearer picture as for how the characters look. Now, I do like how the cover shows off the theme, the family together in the foreground, and Tim off to the side and out of focus. Personally I like the cover and don't really mind it's cartoonish look, so I say go for it.
