Hi everyone, you've may have noticed that I haven't been around a huge amount in July. In part it was because as noted in the previous post I was madly trying to work on an ambitious animation, but there were also other factors (basically a death in the family).

As such I've been thinking a bit about my work/life balance. As you can probably guess, I do this as an addition to my full time job and a very wise Patron said to me a while back to make sure I don't over extend and burn out.

I'm not particularly happy with the amount of content I've added to either the Grove or Patreon this month, so while I'm getting back up to speed, I'm swapping from a monthly subscription to a "paid per post" one - meaning that no one will be charged for July.

The "paid" posts will be when I can muster up time to do animations, but I'm also closing the upper tiers of rewards for the time being, so in essence it's a bit of a soft hiatus from the commitments of Patreon while I catch up on the Grove proper.

I'll let you all know if/when I swap back to a monthly model, but it will likely be after my current work contract has ended later this year.

I'll still be honouring past paid for rewards, so if you've paid for one in the past and haven't acted on it drop me a line and we'll get it sorted.

So in short, I'm not leaving, but hoping that getting some breathing space will give me the time to make BE content that I'm proud of.
