So I was going through your feedback on the Karin Bunny outfit and found that the majority either doesn't like it or is not interested in a part of the costume and that's why I decided the dump this outfit altogether and work on something else however I do like to respond to the feedback in general.
First you know my mods, if there is a part of the costume that I find getting in the way or something that people will not like, I always make it optional and that's why a head band with bunny ears was also planned to replace the mask for those who wanted to see Karin's face. There is a reason why my mods come with so many variants, I like to give options.
Second the conventional or traditional bunny suit sounds boring to me, you literally just throw a corset on the character with a head band having bunny ears and call it a bunny costume, the idea behind this costume was more like a naughty bunny combat suit than just a Playboy bunny suit, it was not another bikini mod because bikini doesn't cover upper half of the breast with latex and you don't wear fur boots with bikini, it was an outfit albiet a revealing one.
Third I do know very well that showing more skin doesn't necessarily mean more sexy, I've been making lewd/sexy mods for years now and do realize that showing more skin is just one way of making a mod sexy, that's why whenever I make a nude mod you always see me releasing a bikini/swimsuit first and then the nude itself because I know that a nicely made swimsuit looks more sexier than just the plain nude mod.
With that said I always try my best to respect and implement as much feedback as I can from you guys even if I don't fully agree with it and that's why I will be making a more traditional bunny suit now, I am kind of disappointed because I spent quite a bit of time perfecting some parts of this outfit, specially the fur, that is really hard to make and optimize for the game and that's why I will try to use some fur in the new idea too as I don't like to waste the fur idea completely but it will be optional and for the most part you'll get a Playboy styled bunny outfit.

I dont think the problem is that the design is bad/unpopular, but just that when we heard bunny, we expected a bunny suit. If the original post said "bunny inspired costume" or something like that, people would have been more open minded, as the original design is very interesting.

I personally love your work, you are easily the best modder for SFV when everything is taken into account and most of your costumes are superior to most of Capcoms in almost every aspect. I just look back and note that a lot of your awesome works are often not the super skimpy stuff but the stuff that is selectively revealing, the stuff that is a sexier cut version of a credible outfit (I'd take your Sakura baby doll and nostalgia reworking as class outfits over the two nipple cover "bikinis" any day, for example).

2020-11-18 16:11:46 +0000 UTCIn terms of Karin the new body was awesome (albeit not a mod I would use but I appreciate the body and the work) and the bikini looked both sexy and also as something you could conceivably imagine Karin in. When I see the bunny costume I cannot credibly imagine Karin wearing that: it is effectively too skimpy for what it is. Perhaps if she was attending a swingers club or some kind of alt-sex festival but that is about it whereas a more regular bunny outfit I really could imagine her in. In terms of the fur, absolutely appreciate the work and the skill behind it. Fur boots..... fur bobble tail (a big fluffy bobble tail would look awesome).... surely there are plenty of ways to make a "boring" bunny style corset less boring?

I will say looking at the comments here that there appears to be a lot of support for your original design but i also feel that as perhaps the most critical in the original comments section I should add my thoughts to your response. I suppose my view is that I see you make an awesome new body for a character and my hope is to see it used for a balance of costumes. For me, I like the costumes to make sense: to be something the character may conceivably wear (albeit at a push) and also cohere with everything else. So some very skimpy outfits, like the bikinis, your incredible Laura carnival outfit or the underwear type costumes for Sakura and poison make sense as they seem like credible things the character may wear.
