Strongest in DxD - Chapter 18

The last thing he remembered was that he was in a battle with the human Ren Katsuo and that he ended up losing when the ice attack occurred and Sirzechs lost consciousness.

"Where am I…?" Sirzechs asked weakly to himself.

"You don't want to know" said a voice in front of Sirzechs causing the Crimson Maou to perform the eyes.

In front of Sirzechs, straight out of the darkness, two pale blue eyes appeared that soon revealed to be Ren Katsuo standing in front of him.

"You!!" shouted Sirzechs angrily as he tried to move but the chains didn't even budge.

Ren just chuckled: "I suggest you don't try to escape, these chains were made to bind Gods, a demon like you is simple" explained Ren calmly as he pulled out a chair and sat down.

The chains that bound Sirzechs were [Enkidu: Chain's of Heaven's] the [Chains of Heaven].

Seeing that moving was impossible Sirzechs turned his gaze to Ren who was standing in front of him.

"Why are you doing all this?" asks Sirzechs to Ren.

The Crimson Satan knew Ren wasn't just doing this out of a desire for destruction, it felt like something personal.

Ren simply laughed at Sirzechs leaving the Maou surprised.

"So how about I tell you a story.

"Once upon a time there was a boy who lived a normal life with his family, he had a loving father and mother and a dear little sister, he lived a normal life, always going to school and coming home where his parents welcomed him Open arms.

"But on one of these days when he got home he saw something shocking, Exorcists, Fallen Angels and Demon fighting each other in his house, his father dead and his mother and sister too and being… abused by supernatural beings to don't use another word"

Every line Ren said made the Crimson Satan widen his eyes at what he was telling.

"You know Sirzechs this boy was not normal, he had a weapon capable of breaking the balance of the world and even killing a God, and therefore the Three Factions killed his family because of it. Does that remind you of anything?" Ren asked dryly.

"You… were that boy with Longinus" said Sirzechs weakly and with regret in his voice.

Several years ago the demons had received the news that a Longinus user had been identified, but he was still a child, a child with magical power compared to high-level demons.

When the elders learned that a mere human had more potential than their demons they became extremely angry and ordered his death.

Sirzechs, Falbium and Ajuka didn't agree, they preferred this boy to be recruited into their Faction, only Serafall was not in favor of it as he was only a child.

When Sirzechs received the reports of what happened he was very shocked, the Fallen Angels and Angels had the same plans as them and the family was killed and their subordinates too and the boy had disappeared.

Sirzechs, Ajuka and Falbium had been disgusted with himself as they had promoted it out of greed to get that power on their side.

Seeing the boy now in front of him Sirzechs couldn't help but laugh.

The Three Factions always thought their destruction would come from some other Faction when the death of the Biblical God was revealed.

Many factions had hatred of the Biblical factions, mainly the Greek and Egyptian because they had many of their followers robbed by the Biblical ones and the only thing that prevented a War will be the Biblical God.

The God of the Bible was extremely feared and his presence warded off any attempt at war and so Sirzechs feared that when his death was revealed the other factions would go to war with them, either out of hatred or for territory so he wanted the Three Factions united as soon as possible.

But now… looking at Ren in front of him he realized.

The destruction of the Three Factions would not come from an outside enemy.

But by one that they themselves created.

"You want revenge," said Sirzechs weakly.

Ren faked a surprised face: "Wow how did you find that out?!" questions Ren with pure sarcasm.

"You won't get it… the Three Factions didn't allow it," Sirzechs said weakly.

"So everyone in the Three Factions is dead," Ren said coldly. 1

"Don't get it wrong, I have the power to destroy the Three Factions right now if I wanted to, but I don't just want to destroy them. I want you to drown in so much despair that you saw no way out for it but death. I want you to destroy yourselves inside"

"The balance of the Three Factions is too weak Sirzechs, I just need a little movement to unbalance it and a new war to break out. For example one of the Maou getting killed… by who knows? An Angel," Ren spoke calmly with a smile.

Sirzechs could only open his eyes wide, the being in front of him didn't just want to destroy the Three Factions, he wanted to recreate the Great War.

"I guess saying I'm sorry isn't going to work, right?" asked Sirzechs weakly.

Ren simply laughed, "No"

Soon after that footsteps were heard behind Ren causing Sirzechs to turn his attention and see something he could never believe.

Grayfia and Venelana walking behind Ren before coming to a stop beside him.

"M-mother? Grayfia?! What are you doing here?!" asked Sirzechs perplexed.

"Why I am with the man I love," said Venelana as she hugged Ren.

"And I'm with a person a thousand times better than a worm than you are," Grayfia said looking in pure disgust at Sirzechs.

Crimson Satan couldn't believe what was happening, why his wife and mother were on the side of this monster.

"What did you do?!!?" shouted Sirzechs in pure hatred for Ren who simply smiled.

"It hurts, doesn't it? Seeing the people you love taken away from you" said Ren smiling, "I just showed them the truth" said Ren calmly.

The Sekiryuutei walked a bit before opening his arms: "You know Sirzechs this is not just any room, this is a torture room, so there are several items in it here" said Ren making Sirzchers' eyes widen.

Ren walked a little before stepping in front of Venelana and Grayfia and lifting their faces with his fingers.

"I'm a little busy right now so could you guys take care of this for me?" Ren asked gently to the two women who blushed.

"Yes!!" both replied happily.

"Well just don't kill him yet, I have plans for him" said Ren making the two smile and wave.

Ren turned his gaze to Sirzechs and smiled, "Enjoy Sirzechs stay" said Ren as he left the room making Sirzechs scream in rage.

Grayfia and Venelana quickly went to the nearby counter and grabbed several torture tools.

For the next few hours all that could be heard were Sirzechs Lucifer's screams of pain and terror.
