Life update!!

Hey all, I wanted to update you on what's been going on with me this month! I'm really sorry that the amount of posts has been way lower than usual. I've been working as usual, but between life stuff and working on larger projects, I haven't sat down and made as many Patreon posts as I normally would. It's temporary, though! I'll be back to normal by the beginning of May.

You may have seen me mention it before, but I'm moving long distance on April 30th, and now it's crunch time to get everything packed and ready to go! It's been a time consuming process because this move is different from any I've done before (we got our keys at the beginning of the month, made an all-day trip there to collect them, and then we're hiring multiple companies for moving help and renting a Uhaul for the drive... {we chose to do it this way for cost effectiveness, but next time I think I'm just going to pay the extra to have one company handle it all, because it's Stressful}). I just can't wait to be done with it!!

I'll be disassembling my desk and computer on the 28th or so, and then I'll have to wait to get it reassembled until the 1st or 2nd of May, so I'll have another short gap in work there. I do have a Surface that I can draw on, so I'd like to be able to do *some* work during that time, but for the bigger projects I need my desktop computer. It's not too big of a gap in work time, though, thankfully!

During this month my husband and I have also been spending time with friends and family as much as we can, partially due to finally having a lower risk of COVID transmission, and partially because we'll be separated from them for most of the next 2 years or so. I got to spend some time with some of my closest friends (including VV and Stella!!), so I feel super grateful 💖 I do feel a bit bad about the amount of days I took off work this month, but I'm doing my best to catch up.

Also, I think last time I made a life update post, I mentioned that my kitty Tootsie was going through some tough times. I'm glad to say she's doing better now! She's an old baby, but her diabetes has gone into remission after changing her medication, and she's back to eating normally as well. She seems pretty happy and healthy again (which is good, because she's not going to enjoy the 5+ hour drive she has in store this month LMAO At least she won't be doubling up on stress, which is one thing I was worried about).
