Advance notice of comm openings + quick update!

Wanted to give everyone interested an advance notice that I will be opening March-April commission slots for Patrons only on February 28th! (This will be available for $5+ tier patrons.)  

I still have some work to get through in my current queue, so these will be started later in March. As always, you do not need to pay in advance but simply pay when I'm ready to begin working on your piece, so don't hesitate to reserve a spot for the coming months! <3  

To both my commission clients and all my patrons here, thank you for your patience with me! It's been much busier than I anticipated this month, so I have not been posting as much finished work or getting through commissions as fast as I wanted (though I'm still dutifully drawing away!). In short, my husband and I are making another long distance move this spring and have been struggling to find a place and get everything ready for our move. Hopefully we'll be able to stop scrambling around and start planning the movers and rental truck situation soon, and I can stop stressing so much about it!

My poor kitty Tootsie has also been going through the ringer this past month or so. She's got an eye ulcer, a urinary infection, an early onset of diabetes from the medication she's been taking for her mystery skin condition, plus arthritis and a heart murmur... She's getting treated right now, but we're in that stage of figuring out what she needs and figuring out how much we're actually going to put her through. The vet treatments are obviously very expensive too. I'm hoping that she starts showing some improvement and doesn't need to start insulin or any other treatments like that, because we don't really want to put her through all that (plus the constant re-checking of her blood sugar levels) and I don't want to go through all that, either. 😣

That being said, don't feel like I'm pushing people to commission me just to offset those costs! Obviously the support that people do show me already is a huge help, and if you did already want to commission me regardless of the tough stuff going on, that means a lot! 💖
I really just wanted to share what's been going on with me to get it all off my chest, because that helps the stress a bit.
