thank yous and updates <3

Happy Holidays, everyone! ✨
I'm so grateful to all of you who have supported me this year. I'm privileged to be able to say that 2020 has not been too bad for me, in terms of personal growth and the ability to care for myself and my family. I hope that 2021 is a better year for all of us, and I hope that you have all been as safe and healthy as possible. <3

Some more personal thoughts:

It's been almost a full year since I've been supporting myself and my husband through my income alone. It's been really nerve-wracking at times, and I still have a ways to go before I really feel secure doing that. But I'm proud of what I've been able to do so far, and I've been working really hard to make it possible!

In the meantime, my husband was able to complete their first semester back to school in years (and got fantastic grades)! I'm so proud of him, and thankful that we were both able to stay home during the pandemic so far. It's made me realize that my main goal is to continue to support us with my work while they pursue their studies and do other projects (like his goal of hydroponic farming. It would be so cool to grow our own food).

The main thing that I worry about is just the various obstacles that any NSFW artist faces nowadays. (Although I don't really consider myself an "NSFW artist," it's just a thing that I draw sometimes - but whatever lol) There's always a threat of shifting website policies and issues on social media and elsewhere (ahempatreon) that make it so that your entire platform could disappear in a moment. I want to continue to diversify and put my art in as many different places as I can so that if for some reason that did happen, I wouldn't lose everything.

(If you'd like to help me in that regard, the best thing I can think of right now is to follow my SFW Twitter so I can let people know in the event that I get banned somewhere, or have to move to another platform. It would also really help me out in making more SFW art and getting my name out there further, so I would super appreciate it. <3)

Anxieties aside, I'm really excited for the coming year and for all the things I'll be able to do! I enjoy making art so much. I can't imagine doing anything else. I hope you all can smile and find even a bit of happiness out of the things I make. :D
