Squid Massage 3D Progress report Dec W1

I would like to share this week’s progress.

There’s still a huge amount of work left — higher visual quality, new situations, battle scenes — but I’m pushing forward at high speed to finish everything within December.

Since I couldn’t post any videos last week, I’m sharing a few images instead.

Visual Quality Improvements

The goal is: a realistic world, while keeping the characters stylized and toony — but slightly closer to realism.

I’m currently fine-tuning that balance.

Even adding soft, subtle shadows made the breasts look much fuller and softer.

This also applies to genital detail and the sense of arousal during sex scenes.

The biggest reason for pursuing a more realistic look is simple: it’s far more erotic.

However, it isn’t all positive.

With toon shading, unnatural shadows were hidden — but now they appear clearly, which means I need to revise the character models.

This is the exact reason I previously avoided a realistic style.

Model revisions significantly increase the workload, but for the sake of quality, I’m pushing through here.

Battle Scenes

The 3D paint shading system took far more time than expected, but the overall framework is now complete.

Just like the previous game, the design respects the action style of the original series while remaining accessible even for players who are not good at action games.

Players will be able to use more weapons than before, with lighter controls and smoother play.

The battle system is primarily a feature to make the characters even cuter and more appealing, so I’m building it to be stress-free and enjoyable for long sessions.

From next week onward, I’ll be implementing character motions to improve presentation and feel.

Next week’s report will probably be a bit lighter in content.

イカリフレDX進捗報告　12月1週目

お疲れ様です。

高画質化、シチュ追加、バトルシーン…

まだまだやることのボリュームは多いですが全部12月に終わらせるために超高速で進んでいます。

先週一つも動画を掲載できなかったのでかわりに今週も画像をいくつか掲載させていただきます。

高画質化

世界の画質はリアルに、でもキャラはトゥーンの良さを残しつつ、少しリアル寄りに…

その塩梅を調整しています。

うっすら影が付くだけでとても柔らかそうなおっぱいになりました。

性器の描写とセックスの時の興奮度も然り。

リアル寄りにする最大の目的はこれです。断然エロいのです。

ただし、いいことばかりではなく、トゥーン描画の際は見えなかった不自然な影も出てきたため、モデルの見直しが必要になってしまいました。

今までリアル寄りを避けてきた理由もこれです。

これにより工数が激かさみします。ですがクオリティ向上のため、ここで一度踏ん張ります。

バトルシーン

3次元の塗り仕様の制作に思った以上に時間がかかってしまいましたがこれで仕組みの詳細までできました。

前作と同様、原作の遊びをリスペクトしつつ、アクションが苦手な方でもプレイできる仕様にしています。

すこし高機能に前回よりもたくさんの武器を使えるようにして、なおかつより軽く、飽くまでキャラを可愛く描くためのゲームなので、ストレスなく長く遊べる内容に。

来週からキャラのモーションを実装して見栄えをよくしていきます。

来週はまた記事が淡泊な内容になります。
