In October last year, I brought two corn snakes home. They were a sweet little pair and constantly slept curled up into a huge knot together. The much bigger one, Manuka, was also much older than the other one and when I went to pick both of them up, the previous owner told me, he didn't know how much time she would have left and asked me if I was sure that I wanted her, too. I said of course, another reason for why I definitely should take this sweetheart home, I don't mind taking care of an elderly lady, especially, when she can be comfortable with another snake she's used to and just snooze the day away. And she did. She got to slither around in a big new home, chased water droplets on the glass of the terrarium and drank them and snoozed on her favourite heating spot right next to the water bowl all day long. But she must have been sick for very long, a long time before I got her, it's hard to tell.

She lost the fight in the end but we both did our best. I'm so glad she can rest with no trouble now💕
