And the Winner Is...

Hey y'all, so for those who wondering what the SUPER SEKRIT polls were about, it was centered around Hololive. And the winner of the poll was none other than  Flare Shiranui!

Yeah I don't know how she won either.  I was honestly hedging my bets on Noel winning (Because of her huge tracts of land.) with Marine being a close second but ultimately losing because man does she have buttload of cards already. With Noel looking like a nightmare to accurately replicate, I figured she would be the surefire winner even if she wasn't the most popular of the group. 

I mean, Rushia doesn't seem all that hard to make/there's a handful of cards to make already and Pekora already has a mod made for her. Probably explains why she ended up with 0 votes when everyone else at least got 2. Oh Pekora, even in the polls you still get bullied. :v

But no, Flare wound up winning by a landslide, securing 6 votes over Sen+Danchou's 2.  I have no idea how that happened and I'm honestly curious. I mean, I thought she was the least popular of the bunch? I'm confused so here's a nuclear hot take on why she won: It's because she's a dark elf isn't it? I mean, Olga is one of my most popular cards so maybe??? 

Well anyways, thanks to all those who voted. I learned a bit from doing this, such as having to preemptively cull certain characters due to personal and legal/Patreon limits. Patreon is not very fond of Mr. Nabokov's work you see. So much so the 4 letter l-word is banned/I think you can only post something with that word in it if it's Patreon exclusive. And no, the word is not "lesbian". It's not "lesbians" either.  No it's not "love"! Geez I'm not trying to trick you here. 

But I digress. Restrictions will be applied beforehand just to make sure we're all on the same page. Some of them won't be so popular,  but them's the breaks. Ah well, we'll cross that bridge when we get there. And it's gonna be a long ass trip just getting there so bring some snacks. Honestly this whole thing could end up being a waste of time because there's no way the goal's ever gonna be reached. Still, at least we all learned something here today huh? 

What do you mean we're already halfway there?! YAB. 

Okay okay real talk:  I didn't think I'd reach the poll goal any time soon.  So this was more of a test to see what kind of response I would get, if any at all.  Maybe it's just because of Botan, but lately I've been getting a whole lot of pledges and that looks like a sign that folks want polls. Or maybe the fact there's patreon-exclusive stuff is what's causing people to pull the trigger. 

Regardless, this was all to gauge interest and to see if having patreon-exclusive stuff, even if it's totally worthless, would affect anything and it sure did. That said, I feel like I need to restate that this was experimental and that if you're pledging based solely on this, don't. The final product will not look like what you see here so you may end up feeling ripped off/you're not getting what you paid for. So as much as I appreciate it, please wait until I have something concrete/locked in. Rather than basing your decision off of something I just threw out there for funsies y'know?
