Weekly Update 17/11/2024 (Road to 0.2.0)

Hello, Nakamas! How’s everyone doing? I hope your week has been better than mine... 🙈

But not everything is bad news—I’ve got some fresh updates for you! So let’s dive right in, family.

Improvements and Remastering

This week, I’ve focused on remastering character sprites and a few scenes. I felt that the proportions of the characters needed some tweaking—they looked a little "top-heavy," and I wasn’t fully satisfied with the body shapes, particularly for the female characters. After these adjustments, I think the proportions now align better with the anime’s style and look much improved.

Additionally, Alvida’s mini storyline is being fully remastered, so you’ll get to enjoy it with a much more polished visual quality.

Another significant update is the remastering of the bath scenes with Midou. Below, I’ve included a before and after so you can see how it’s coming along. 👀

New Character Revealed

Time to reveal the new female character joining to the 2.0! 🎉
Last week, I dropped a hint, and now it’s official: Midou’s helper will be none other than Makino from Foosha Village. 🌊🍷

Makino will play a significant role in the storyline alongside Midou, and I’m confident she’ll be a fantastic addition to both the tavern and the overall plot! I hope you’re as excited about her as I am to bring her to life.
