The community has spoken, and the winner is… our beloved Midou! The next update will focus on her, so get ready to dive deeper into the story of Renji's mother. 💫
Enhanced Environments
I’ve been updating some of the scenes to make them feel more alive, adding NPCs in the background to give everything a more immersive vibe. Some areas felt a bit empty, and I’m aiming for this to be the best sandbox visual novel set in the One Piece universe. Slowly but surely, we're getting there! For example, the tavern now has an official name: The Stranded Mermaid 🧜♀️, honoring our pirate who "anchored" herself there while she waits for the right time to set sail once again.
New Characters and Features
I’ve also been working on the 3D models of some new characters and in-game buttons. Since Midou will be busy supervising Renji’s training, she’ll need a hand around the tavern… so a well-known barmaid will be arriving in Sunnyland to help out. Any guesses who it might be? 😉
