Weirder Stuff - Ep. 1: Urban Legends

Hey, everyone!

Sorry for the delay but here's a new comic with a (kinda stupid) story as to why it exists, lol.

So, before my health decided to take a hell of a dive, I was working on the next chapter of the Detective Batson spin-off, "The Diaries of Alex Passion."

Well, that chapter needed images for a TV show Lexi was watching, and as I searched for something to use, I started looking at that "Weirder Stuff" meme picture I made for TV images and I was like "what if...?"

So I started making a few images and then I got sick... For a short while I wasn't able to actually work on anything and I started getting obsessed with the idea of a parody comic, and when I got the ability to I began creating this thing! (lol).

So now it's this short side-series that's meant to be dark and fun without thinking too much about it, and perfectly fitting for the month of October, I think.

I also worked really far ahead on renders because I intended on making a single monster comic, but I found a few things I want to rework and a good place to split the story, so it's coming to you in two chapters.

The first one is here, now. And the second "episode" is planned to arrive before the month is out. I'd like to say next week, but you know how ambitious I get sometimes, so I'm going to comfortably say it'll be here before Halloween, which is my favorite holiday.

Once this is wrapped up, I'm going to jump back into that next chapter of Diaries and then probably go back to weaving between Diaries and Drafted until one's finished or something else snags my attention on the side, like this (I kinda want to do another Doodles or Genie comic for Christmas). But, as long as my health maintains I shouldn't have such big gaps between releases again, and I'm sorry you guys had to wait so long for this.

I am very grateful for all of you who support my art and storytelling, and I have so many stories I still want to tell. I haven't forgotten about Dan's Distortion or any of the others I left unfinished. They're definitely on my radar as well, I just wish time would slow down a little bit...
