Status Update 2/1

Hey, everyone!

I wanted to take a moment and share where I am with some things right now, and what you can expect this month.

Silk Chains is taking a lot longer than I anticipated. It's changed significantly a few times since it was announced and, while we are settled on where we want it to be, it's still going to take a little bit longer to finish.

Because of how unpredictable this project is, I'm shifting more focus back into comics, so I can hopefully get Batson out in about two weeks, and then begin working on my Dream Job update. I'd like to see if I can get both comics completed this month, but I don't want to promise anything. But I am going to make sure I get chapter 8 of Batson out in the next couple of weeks.

I'm not tabling Silk Chains, I'm just making it my secondary focus while I work on this other project that I know I can finish in a more reasonable amount of time.

I do apologize for not having anything in January. Based on how this book started, it looked like something that could be completed in a much shorter amount of time, but I wasn't ever really satisfied with it, so it took a lot of passes to get where I want it, and it still needs quite a bit of work before I'm ready to share it with everyone.

Also, these last couple of weeks have been SUPER difficult to find the drive to create anything complex as an American. It's impossible to tune out everything, it's just everywhere, and it's so passively overwhelming... but I'm trying my best to push through all the dreadful noise, so I can deliver some joy and entertainment. (Baking bread seems to help)

I don't have any ETAs for anything, but I don't think I need more than a couple of weeks to finish the next Batson chapter. So, hopefully I can have that done soon.
