FYI, I don't think the mansion is actually haunted, rather Mun-Young is haunted by the "ghosts" of the past trauma she experienced in that house, hence the sleep paralysis "demon" imagery as someone above also mentioned. It's not an actual ghost. Interesting fact that I guess would support this is that she was sleeping on her back. In most people who have experienced sleep paralysis, myself included, it usually occurs while you're sleeping on your back. Don't know why that is. It's an interesting phenomenon. From the context clues that they've been sprinkling throughout these episodes, we can somewhat conclude that her mom wasn't that great a person to her, and her father tried to kill her. She experienced literal horror growing up and that trauma was never resolved and just followed her into her adult life, which just adds to the nightmares she probably already has.
