BOYS PLANET EP.8 REACTION!

Comments

I think one thing we forget sometimes is, at the end of the day, this is still a competition show, these guys are constantly pushed to their limits, under a lot of pressure, and are exhausted (physically, mentally, emotionally) in every way. There's going to be moments where tensions are high, you to let your emotions get the best of you and disagreements amongst team members will happen. So with cameras on constantly, they're going to catch some of those arguments and actions that these guys aren't proud of. With all that footage, Mnet has the power to decide what they will and won't show and how they show it. Like it's true they can't edit what a person said, but they can easily copy/paste something said in a different context/conversation or cut parts out to make a situation seem better or worse. At the end of the day, no one is perfect and everyone is capable of learning and improving themselves. So I don't blame any of these guys for anything they did on the show because I know there's more to the story than what we see. I mean, they've been practicing for a week but we only see maybe 5-10 minute snippets of that time, a lot more could've happened. I just feel bad for a lot of the guys who were shown as the "villian" in order to create a more dramatic story and wound up getting a lot of unnecessary hate. Anyways, I'm done ranting. Sorry. xD Also, like you said, Jongwoo is great at being a leader. Jongwoo seems to be all about the group moving/thinking as a one, he always emphasizes the group comes first and doing what benefits the group vs individuals. He's also very firm with his words which is probably why Ma Jingxiang responded to him so well and didn't put up a fight. I don't think it's a matter of respect Jingxiang respecting him more than his previous leaders, I think its more the way Jongwoo approaches being the leader? He doesn't give Jingxiang the opportunity to sway out of line. Like, Jongwoo does listen to other's suggestions, but he then he thinks and gives a clear path that HE wants the group to follow, he's firm with his decisions and doesn't get swayed easily out of it when he feels it's not beneficial to the group. So I think he's just the perfect type of person Ma JingXiang needs to lead him because he has a tendency to close himself in his own bubble and forget that while this is an individual competition for spots in a group, it actually takes group effort and working as a team to achieve the results. Sidenote, Jongwoo did debut in a group last year called "Black Level" but he ended up leaving the group and company after a few months. He was the maknae of that group, but I hope if he debuts again, he'd be a leader.

omgg jordan you have to check out shinee at some point (like don't react to them if you don't wanna but i highly recommend you to have a look at them), they are exo's older brothers and they are ELITE! like they really were the real trendsetters in kpop so no wonder the trainees reacted like that. Also, lee hoetaek is 29 but koreans count age differently
