the moth has won the people's favor and gets to be stretched like an onahole first!
for a little unnecessary worldbuilding:
- leaning towards naming them Lepin after the order classification, Lepidoptera, used for moths and butterflies
- like their namesake, they have a larval form which is a big caterpillar and go into a cocoon state
- they have a symbiotic relationship with the other races, with their young caterpillars being used to help clear fields and rubbish and cocoon silks for clothing
- unfortunately a very shortlived species, as they have no mouth in their adult state and their overly curious and eager nature gets them into trouble
- they are an intelligent species and can understand speech, but having no verbal or written communication plus short lives makes it difficult to form their own unique culture. they often end up mostly just wandering about and finding a place with the other races rather than making their own settlements, though they do exist
- oddly, there seems to be a sort of repetition to them, as there always seems to be one Goth Moth and other notable characters around despite their lifespans. currently trying to figure out whether knowledge and personalities are passed down to the repeats or "reincarnations"
- all observed Lepin have been female. the males of the species are theorized to be rather large, considering their bodies seem to be designed to take absurd sizes of sex compared to their size
still not really planned out thoroughly, but im trying to make them rather odd and unique. also potentially a source of comedy with them being able to die and then show up again in a later incarnation.
