Added 2024-11-18 17:38:02 +0000 UTCI needed to design two practical, believable combat outfits for Tara and Jay to show up in.
One outfit turned out slightly more practical than the other. I'll leave it to you to decide which one.
Attached some concept art for Jay's outfit. Went through a bunch of drafts, trying to decide how modern-soldier he'd look, vs a more superhero jam. I even tried to make him a helmet - but it just didn't work right.
In the end, I went with what my teenage self would have gone with - rugged old school soldier, in a futuristic world!
Tara's outfit came to me easier. I just closed my eyes, and let the art come to me.
