Script: PaxTube DEBUNKED
Added 2024-06-07 02:22:50 +0000 UTCPaxTube is a self-described “Catholic YouTuber and social critic” with about 100,000 subscribers. His first video up on YouTube is “Why the US is NOT a nation of immigrants” followed promptly by “Why People Like Anime Girls.” His most popular video, with 2.5 million views—so, much bigger than Zoomer Historian—is “Why the Crusades Were Awesome Actually.” What a great first impression.
But if you dig a little deeper – like look up the guy on Twitter – you’ll see that, believe it or not, he’s completely obsessed with Jewish people too! I can’t read this stuff out loud because the last time I did YouTube deleted my video for hate speech, but this is pretty hateful stuff from a pretty big YouTube channel. And if you look at his likes, it’s more of the same.
PaxTube is part of the “Trad Cath” phenomenon—far-right wackoes who cloak their hatreds in Catholicism, even though the Catholic Church obviously condemns all hatred and all violence committed in the name of God, including the Crusades and the Inquisition. Zoomer Historian is one of these “Trad Caths” too, alongside bigger figures (Nick Fuentes).
So, let’s debunk PaxTube. Let’s go through a couple of his videos and show how he lies about history to serve his own ideological ends.
