A question
Added 2025-04-26 12:29:15 +0000 UTCI'm starting to reach a point in my side projects that I might drop a chapter or two for you to read and get a taste of. Not regular releases or anything, but like a taste of what I'm cooking. Thing is, I've never released anything on Patreon before, and I usually don't subscribe for chapters either, so I'm not entirely sure how to best go about it. I don't think people just copy paste the entire text into a post, so do they link Word files or google drive or something? What's more confortable for readers?

It's mix for me - I have several that copy-paste the whole chapter as a post, one that only posts epub or pdf format, one that does google docs. I also have a couple that will post the whole book as an epub at the end as they take down the posts prior to publishing on KU.

One does copy paste + link to Google doc because the system windows don't show up well in Patreon so they do the full text plus the Google doc in case readers prefer that.
