Update on the new story

I've started writing the new story and I already have a handful of chapters for it. I'm just holding on to them because I'm still making small tweaks and adjustments that affect the story. I also want to get enough chapters in to see if I'm on the right path. I'm feeling good about this one, but I won't know for sure until I really get into it. For reference, I already had a first crack at the idea while I was still writing the Song of the Void and got about ten chapters in before I noticed that while the basic premise was good, I would need to re-write the beginning to get the tone and feel right.

Putting finishing touches on chapter 7 now, and starting chapter 8. I think I'll likely start releasing it later this week to see what people think of it. Just so you're aware.
