Monthly ramble - February ♡

Comments

I’m enjoying these peachy time capsules. To hear where you were is interesting. I hope that’s not weird but this is a parasocial situation 🤷🏾‍♂️. I was just thinking the other day about your Youtube button. I hope you’re displaying it and you do have a record of all your accomplishments now. If not there’s a gentle nudge to do that. Thank you for all your openness and all that you do.

Thank you so much, Branded. I'm starting to feel so much better, forever grateful to have such lovely people around me. ♡

Thank you and you're welcome! And I genuinely believe taking a step back from Twitter will help. Like you said, it's a cesspool and has so much drama and negative things happening all around, it's not worth it. And just a reminder, you got a lot of people who are here on patreon who have your back. You recently hit 100K subs on youtube and thats a MASSIVE milestone that millions of people will try to reach but wont. And think of how many people that listen that aren't subscribed and just let the algorithm show them the route. It's a bittersweet thing because yeah it's less subs, but if they keep coming back, thats another person you're entertaining or helping. And something to remember, dont think it's because of you that they arent subbed, look at every big youtuber that advertises hitting the subscribe button. They usually have some analytic that shows that 30-40% of their average viewers aren't subbed. A LOT of people just like the algorithm do it's thing and they dont want to click the button. It's not a knock on you as a creator, or your content. Like you said, focus on the good you do and (easier said than done) but ignore the hate/drama, which just getting off twitter hopefully takes a large chunk of that out. And remember, you accomplished all of this. You mentioned that everyone thought your sister would become a star and you dont see how you have gotten to where you are. But that's life in a good way. You get the cards you're dealt and it's how you use them, and you are using your cards in a very good way! (Not putting your sister down in anyway about that btw. More just saying that even if a pro card player doesn't have the best hand. There is still a strategy and a way to pull out a victory!) Even from the rambles and Q&As where we can get a slice of you, from the stories you've shared, youve gotten through so much. Climbed so many mountains, and this is another one to climb, but you got this! And I'm so sure that a lot of your community will have your back, even if it's just us understanding that you need to take a break of streaming/twitter/your own scripts to have some fillers in so you can have more personal time. Yes this is your full time job, but doesnt mean it has to be your full life! Pick up a hobby that's just for you, or you and your family. Maybe share about it in a ramble or something just as a topic point, but then move on to the next point. Example being: "So I just picked up 'hobby' and it's a lot to learn, but it's a lot of fun. Oh and Sona is still being super attached and trying to climb the booth again... *insert rest of ramble lol*" But getting a hobby that isnt purely with the idea of content creation will help so much (not with content creation, but that helped me a lot. Just getting a random hobby not related to my work field at all. I work in tech so I wanted to find one that had nothing to do with computers or tech at all, and it helped a ton). You are enough, but always aim to grow as well. It's never a bad thing to want to improve, even of it's for personal growth that we will never see. Be proud of who you are, what you've accomplished and everything you will accomplish! Now have a good rest of your day, go drink a tall glass of water and give your cats a snuggle or a headpat, schedule a do nothing day, or super relaxing day and just focus on you! (Sorry for the long novel of a comment, but hopefully there was something in there that you can pull out as a bit of an uplift 😁)

I can't really say more than what has been said already, not even counting I'm not the best as big motivational speeches. So I'll keep it short and hopefully sweet. You've got 100k folks at your back because we saw something in you that made us go "Hey, she's alright. Let's join her community." You're a sweet and wonderfully kind human being that gives so much of yourself, but don't forget to give to yourself too. We'll be here, not to worry ❤️

Branded

Thank you for the advice, William. I'm sorry you went through such a difficult time feeling like that, I hope you feel confident now that none of those feelings were reality. Thank you so much for this very kind comment, it means a lot to me. ♡

Thank you Brau, I'm going to do my best to take care of myself & come back strong! Mexico sounds like a very good travel audio idea! I know where to come if I need help hehe. Thank you ♡

Dreams of Peaches

It makes me so glad to hear you're doing better! I really hope that coming away from things like Twitter will help me centre & focus on the good things I do instead of feeling like I'm not enough. You are so kind to me, thank you Pixel. ♡

I know that it isn't for everyone and it isn't very easily accessable for everyone, but for me talking to a therapist really helped me get through my imposter syndrome. I went through a few years where I was so down on myself and I practically convinved myself that my friends only hung out my with me due to pity. Getting that help turned my life around and made me much more content and confident in myself. Obviously not everyone is meant for it, but there is no shame in trying it and having it. There is a stigma around it, but the support industry is an industry for a reason. The demand was there so the supply was created. I know I'm just one of many voices on the interwebs, but there is no shame is asking for help or taking time for yourself. You seem to have a beautiful community, so whenever you feel alone, remember that even if we don't know you in real life, you have 100k people that support you and what you do and just want whats best for you. All the love and support in the world to you, and I hope you do find that inner peace ❤️

William

Everything you do for your mental health is good, take care of yourself Peaches, we are still going to be here for you. Just remember that you are an incredible person and you create amazing content, you are the best 💜 Also maybe a Mexico travel audio? 👀 I could help with some ideas

Getting off Twitter was one of the best choices in my mental health journey over the past year (my breaking point was like the first week of feb 2022, so just over a year was the very start of it all for me). Please do whatever you need to do to get in the right headspace. From where I was a year ago and even a bit further back to where I am now, is like night and day and makes even rough days not bad. And whenever I hear that others are going through it, it hurts me and I just want whoever is going through it to know that you can get through it. You got this! ❤️ To be honest I had to look up imposter syndrome, Ive heard it a lot over the last 6 months or so, but never looked it up. And I may have been only around since summer/real late spring, but I have listened to a lot of your back catalog and you are very talented, as a VA and script writer. I love when I see that notification that you uploaded a new audio. It's always a great listen and a fun time! Keep being you, focus on what you need to focus on, drink a glass of water and take a deep breath every now and then. Thank you for always being so positive, thank you for being so open and thank you for being you!

The brain feels what it feels. I know you know this. lol. The funny thing I think is as we get to a place of security and success. (Don't forget, you're killing it. Read this part a bunch.) We have more free time to reflect and think of these things. Kind of makes the less positive feelings seem like they are greater and more challenging. You've conquered or atleast lived through many many things up to this point, and you're a strong person. Emotions don't always make sense, but you've got this. Just gotta float through the waves sometimes. I don't want to be too weird or anything. You're a badass of positivity. I am not super active in your discord community, because I don't want to bother people, but the people that want to be around you are pretty cool too.

Daymond B

I'm sorry your mental health has not been great recently, please take care of yourself. You were right about shutting off Twitter and not putting pressure on yourself about streaming since it was becoming a source of stress. Also, about your (relative) celebrity, I think one of your qualities that we love is how down to earth you've always been. Even after getting a 100k Play button from YouTube, you're still the same kind and caring person you've always been. Keep it up, you're doing great!
