Peaches, where are you?!

So I realise I haven't posted to Patreon for over a week now and I just wanted to check in with you. I am still here and content will be coming at the weekend but I have (for once) taken a little chunk of time off WILLINGLY to recover from a) covid, b) the subsequent illnesses I've caught from the kids I teach while my immune system has been low and c) the now aggravated state of my sinuses. Teaching has been extremely difficult for me and I nap pretty much every evening at the moment as soon as I get home.
I do not write this for sympathy because that's not what I want at all and actually I am feeling pretty GREAT right now! It's just that I always feel like whenever I don't post for a while you'll think I'm not bothered about creating content or I don't care about you, the people who support me. I know it's irrational but I always want to do my best by you guys which is why I think I feel like that sometimes.
ANYWAY, the good news is I'm finally feeling a little better and I'll be seeing a private specialist next week who will hopefully actually give a damn about my problem and get me on the road to recovery after 2 long years. I haven't been able to record anything since I have had what feels like a constant cold/chest infection the last couple of weeks and finally today I can actually breathe normally. This means by the weekend I should be in tip-top condition to record my already prepared scripts and hooo boy are they good ones (Professor Peaches teaches you cuddling: 101, anyone?)
I know a couple of weeks isn't a lot and honestly if you've been around a while you know me, I will try and cram as much content in as I can between now and the end of the month. ^-^ but I just wanted to check in with you and let you know what's going on. Your support means so much to me and I feel like you deserve explanations of long absences.
I will be around in the next few days with content for you and some extra things too. Take care of yourselves and I'll see you soon. c:

As much as it's appreciated that you came out with an update, I second a statement made earlier that no explanation is, or even was needed. The content you create is so peaceful and warm, passionate and tender, that (trying not to speak for everyone) it's worth waiting for. Taking care of you is worth waiting for content, because without your amazingly calm and nice voice, it wouldn't be anything. I've mentioned in the past, that even when you're not feeling your best, and you might think that, because of how you feel, that the dialog might be off, but you still come through as the wonderfully sounding you. You're amazing at what you do, and you're incredibly nice that you provide us all this update, and it's because of how sweet and dedicated you are to us all, that it's only right that we show you support and prayers that you feel better, and get back to being the wonderful you.
