Update on Sona! ♡

I thought I'd give you a little update on Sona. She's doing really well and recovery is going great! She's getting up a lot more and seems to be getting stronger - I've had to stop her from jumping up onto the sofa a couple of times! She's extremely limpy and I'm still not sure how well her leg will recover in terms of walking, but she's doing okay.
She hates her cage and has started chewing at the bars. The kitten eyes are real guys, and the moans break my heart - she's been affectionately nicknamed 'Moany Sony' because of how much she's meowing to come out.
Even more so than the cage, she hates her nemesis.. the dreaded cone. Today the vet said her incision wound has completely healed and she doesn't have to wear the cone anymore! She's currently snuggled up in her cage, curled up in her usual weird & wacky sleeping position and napping away. She's doing so, so good.
Thank you all so much for your kindness and caring as much as you do. In a couple of weeks we'll be going for a post-op xray so hopefully everything should be okay, but to reiterate what I said in an earlier post - I couldn't afford all of this aftercare without you guys. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ♡
